AutoDesk offers a free student version of AutoCAD for students interested in learning the software. Most homeschoolers will qualify
for this version if they are associated with a nationally recognized homeschooling body.

You will need to register on the AutoDesk website and go through
​the process of downloading AutoCAD. It is recommended that you complete this requirement before beginning our program.

An alternative to AutoCAD is ProgeCAD Professional. The software compares with ACAD in almost in every way. The good thing about ProgeCAD Professional is that it comes with a lifetime license for a one time fee of $449.
